USA
Back when John Edwards was considered a pathetic clown by a simple plurality rather than an overwhelming majority of his countrymen, Bozo had grown fond of pitching his idea that there are Two Americas: one comprised of the ultra mega super rich (comprised of greedy, self-serving cads, conveniently not including himself); the other made up of the non ultra mega super rich (unjustly prevented from joining their ranks by virtue of not being slip-and-fall scum bag lawyers).
Phyllis Schafly agrees there are indeed Two Americas. Unlike the Breck Girl, Schafly gets the categories right:
Income tax day, April 15, 2010, now divides Americans into two almost equal classes: those who pay for the services provided by government and the freeloaders. The percentage of Americans who will pay no federal income taxes at all for 2009 has risen to 47 percent.
That isn't the worst of it. The bottom 40 percent not only pay no income tax, but the government sends them cash or benefits financed by the taxes dutifully paid by those who do pay income tax.
